In this section I will show you how to make a copy of the master spreadsheet, allow access, setup the triggers.

Make a copy #

To make a copy of the spreadsheet, go to the top menu: File > Make a copy.

Allow access #

Once you make a copy, you’ll need to grant access to the spreadsheet. If you have any concerns, I suggest checking out our Privacy Policy.

Then click on the Step 2 button to grant permission. You will then be ask to authorize the script. Select “Ok”.

Then select your Google Account.

Then click on the link “Advanced” at the bottom.

Then on the “Go to Ledgerdary Trading Journal” link.

Now you are ready for step 3. This will create all the triggers needed to perform all the functionalities.

Perfect, one more step to go. Click on Step 4 and the documentation will appear for you to read and guide you on how to use the spreadsheet.

All done. Congrats you made it thru the boring part. You should see a screen like this. You will then be able to find all the options under the top menu called “Trading Journal”. But before you click on it and get lost I suggest your read the next part to setup your preference in the “Settings” sheet.
