In this section, I will show you how to make a copy of the Ledgerdary Trading Journal spreadsheet, allow access, and enter your license key.

Make a copy #

To make a copy of the spreadsheet, go to the top menu: File > Make a copy.

Allow access #

Once you make a copy, you’ll need to grant access to the spreadsheet.

To make this Google Sheet function effectively, it requires permission to run custom scripts. These scripts help automate certain tasks, such as updating data or sending notifications. When you grant permission, you’re allowing the script to access and manipulate data within this document as needed for these automated processes.

We recommend connecting using a new Gmail account if privacy is a concern. This way, you can maintain your personal data separately and still benefit from the automated features of this Sheet.

Then click on the Step 2 button to grant permission. You will be prompted to authorize the script. Select “OK.”

Then select your Google Account.

Then click on the link “Advanced” at the bottom.

Then on the “Go to Ledgerdary Trading Journal” link.

Now you are ready for Step 3. Enter your license key and wait for it to be validated. A prompt message will confirm that your license key has been successfully validated.

All done! Congrats, you made it through the boring part. You’ll find all the options under the top menu labeled “Trading Journal.”
